Conversations with Widows: Maximize Your Impact through Empathy

Let's face it, most people do not want to talk about death and dying, and yet, as planning professionals, it's not something that can be easily avoided. Have you ever ended a phone call with a widowed donor and wondered, should I have said that? Or perhaps met with a widowed client in your office and were unsure if they really understood the information that you were providing to them? In this discussion, we look at best practices for working with widowed and bereaved clients and donors. Charlotte Paul will provide some simple tools that you can use to assist when engaging in difficult conversations and which will strengthen your widowed relationships for years to come.

We encourage CAGP members across British Columbia, from our Vancouver Island and BC Interior Chapters, to join us for this session. The webinar is organized by CAGP Greater Vancouver Chapter.
