Welcome to the Canadian Association of Gift Planners, Windsor-Essex Chapter.

CAGP Windsor Essex Chapter is a group of dedicated local fundraisers and professional advisors who get together to network, learn from each other and promote and create awareness of the importance of planned giving in the Windsor-Essex region.

We meet as a Chapter five times a year from September to June.  Our meetings are held at lunch and are hosted by our members with a great meal provided. Our meetings are used to plan our events, coordinate our LEAVE A LEGACY program and share ideas.  Twice a year we are pleased to have speakers come and provide members with information on new and interesting planned giving tools, asset management and estate laws.

The Chapter has partnered with Windsor Life magazine to promote LEAVE A LEGACY month in May.  The insert is an opportunity for the Chapter to present the public with information on ways to leave a legacy and talk about some of the ways local donors have helped local organizations through gifts in their estates with the intent of encouraging others to do the same. Local charities and professional advisors are given an opportunity to promote their planned giving programs in the insert.

Once a year in May during LEAVE A LEGACY month, the Chapter also hosts an education session with expert speakers to help our local charities and advisors help serve their clients better.   CAGP and AFP members are given a discount on their registration fee.

For more information on the Chapter, or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Nancy Parker, Chair at nlparker02@hotmail.com.

Thank you.
