This professional development seminar is jointly hosted by Canadian Association of Gift Planners, Greater Vancouver Chapter, and The Canadian Bar Association (British Columbia Branch), Charities and Not-for-profit Law Section.
Gifts are a vital source of funding for charities of all sizes. While some gifts are given without conditions or limitations, many come with restrictions on how or when they may be used. This seminar will explore the unique challenges associated with restricted gifts, including reasons for accessing restricted funds, considerations for repurposing an otherwise restricted gift or encroaching on capital, and best practices for planning restricted gifts.
This is a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding of restricted gifts, expand your network, and further your professional development!
