Planned Giving 101: Building Futures

Event Info
Summary:

The CAGP BC Interior chapter is offering an educational event beginning with a simple presentation covering Planned Giving basics followed by interactive Q&As in a roundtable format.

In September and early October, our BC Interior chapter socials revealed that many people in our sector are yearning to discover the basics of how to grow a planned giving program and how to become comfortable with legacy fundraising. These are big topics, and we can make a start that will move everyone in the Chapter forward.

We will share individual experiences and knowledge, while getting to the core of your most urgent questions. Some that have been suggested are:

  • How do you start a Planned Giving program? How do you evolve one?
  • What are the important things to know and do for future success?
  • Who is my audience?
  • How can I comfortably introduce this conversation to donors and then sustain the discussion?

LOCATION: Okanagan College, Vernon Campus; Building E, room E-105. AV available for livestream.

COST: CAGP members: $10.00; non-members, $15.00. These fees will help support future education opportunities.

FOOD: Uprooted is the onsite food vendor (very delicious) and they will be open for purchasing lunch.   https://uprootedkitchen.ca/kal-view-cafe-menu/
