Please join MNP accountants Katie Wolfe and Ashley Brown as they review the proposed changes to the Alternative Minimum Tax and the implications that this could have on the direction of charitable designated funds going forward. Katie and Ashley will discuss the draft changes to the alternative minimum tax, as proposed in Canada’s 2023 Federal Budget. This will include a summary of the proposed changes, key takeaways from submissions made by CAGP and Imagine Canada, and a fly over review of how the new legislation, if enacted, may impact charities and their donors effective January 1, 2024
