Our Presenters

Joanne Bracken

Joanne Bracken spent most of her career working in the not-for-profit sector with a vision to make a difference in the lives of others.  Recently retired from her role as CEO of the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, Joanne was blessed to work for 24 years with others who shared her vision to improve the lives of people living with dementia.  Joanne was inspired by the many donors, volunteers and staff who through their personal philanthropy contributed to building a very successful organization that supports people living with dementia across Saskatchewan.  Witnessing the gratification of those who share their time, talents and treasures to make the world a better place is truly a privilege.

In her retirement, Joanne is enjoying spending time with her family, travelling, fitness and gardening.  She is currently exploring volunteer opportunities where she can continue to have a positive impact on the community.
